| Some down time! Conference officials organized an extended tour of Rajasthan and the Punjab: we saw tigers in Ranthambore reserve, we rode elephants in Jaipur ( the Pink City); we shopped 'till we dropped at Janpath and Dilli Haat bazaars; we walked in the halls and gardens of the 435 year old World Heritage site, Fathepur Sikri; we visited the amazing Taj Mahal in Agra and stayed at a former maharajah's palace where we dined on the rooftop under a velvet Indian sky.. A great time was had by all. A sari is the coolest thing to wear - in every sense! |
